Business Developer Ernströmgruppen – Flow Technology
Location: Copenhagen, Gothenburg or Oslo
Position: Permanent, full-time

About us Ernströmgruppen is a family-owned Nordic industrial group. We own and grow entrepreneur-led niche companies, organised into four business areas. Flow Technology is one of them.

The companies in Flow Technology supply products, system solutions, installation and service for heating, cooling and ventilation, and for measuring and controlling flows. Some are product and system suppliers; others are dedicated service, installation and measurement businesses. Together they work across the Nordics and Northern Europe, and what connects them is a focus on using energy efficiently and making flow systems perform better.

We've spent a long time building better businesses, and we mean to keep doing it. That means getting our companies to work more closely together, making the right acquisitions when they come up, and putting new technology — AI included — to practical use. Decisions stay close to the business, but being part of Ernströmgruppen also opens doors beyond Flow Technology itself. We're looking for someone who wants to help build this.

The role We're adding a Business Developer to our Business Development team. You'll work closely with the team and, from that base, reach out across the Flow Technology companies to find and act on opportunities to grow. You'll drive initiatives independently while staying in close contact with the team. The work sits between strategy and delivery, and you'll be expected to carry things through to a result.

What you'll do

• Drive business development across Flow Technology, with organic growth as the main focus
• Find and develop synergies between our companies
• Support acquisitions, from first analysis to integration
• Help with change management, including the rollout of digital and AI initiatives
• Work closely with senior managers across the companies to get people aligned and moving
• Prepare analyses, business cases and decision material for management and the board

Who we're looking for You've worked in management consulting or a similar structured, project-driven setting, with roughly 2–5 years behind you. You're analytical, and you're good with people — you'll need both.

• Strong relationship skills. You build trust easily and work well with people at every level, senior management included.
• A structured, analytical way of working. You get to the heart of a business problem quickly and turn it into a clear plan someone can act on.
• Experience with change management and with helping people adopt new ways of working.
• A real feel for how organisations work and how decisions actually get made.
• A hands-on, pragmatic streak, and comfort moving between the strategic and the operational.

Experience with AI in a business setting is a plus, not a requirement.

The role involves regular travel within the Nordics.
