The Indstrial Systems department at Armatec develops customized systems for industries. Each customer has their own idea of what a new system should do. Stefan Kjellgren picks up on that and turns it into reality.
My task is to really listen to what the customer wants. I often get a functional specification from the customer which is the basis for product choice and calculations. Some wishes can be granted right off the bat, while others require extra thought. Therefor it is important to involve the customer and show them how the project is progressing by using 3D-models for example.
What I like with my job is that it is very diverse. One day I’m at our warehouse and inspecting a system before delivery. The next day I am visiting a customer to sell a proposal. Visiting customers is by far what I appreciate the most. It is about creating a business relationship that is convenient for both parties and that lasts over time.
Armatec is a well managed company with a lot of competent and nice people. Our organization is flat and just the right size all while the vital resources are there. That gives us the possibility to take own initiatives and make things happen. I see great potential for the System department to grow even more and I think that Armatec’s future seems bright at large.
